Hull, Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom Church of England Full time
Position Overview

We are seeking an individual with a background in administration and exceptional communication abilities to assist the Heart for Hull Enabler. This role is pivotal in supporting the Bishop of Hull and the Deanery Leadership Team in realizing their Heart for Hull Vision, aligned with the broader Diocesan Strategy of Living Christ's Story.

The primary responsibility of this position is to aid the Enabler in planning, designing, executing, and monitoring a citywide strategy, while also facilitating the Hull Deanery in achieving its strategic objectives.

Proven experience in organizing successful events and the ability to engage confidently with various stakeholders, both over the phone and online, is essential.

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing an accessible database to assist the Enabler and the Deanery in establishing a robust network of contacts. Additionally, providing support in the preparation of funding applications and ensuring the timely distribution of reports will significantly enhance our efforts.

We prioritize equity, diversity, and inclusion, and particularly encourage applications from disabled individuals and those from UKME backgrounds, as these groups are currently under-represented within our organization. We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and candidates will be required to complete basic safeguarding training.
