Position Overview
- We have multiple full-time Consultant roles available.
- This is a replacement role due to a Consultant's departure.
- You will collaborate with another Consultant specializing in Ageing and Health.
- Your responsibilities will include leading ward rounds and facilitating team meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the development of the Stroke Service.
- Participate in the General Medical on-call rota.
- Conduct the required number of Post-Take Ward Rounds during on-call duties.
Core Duties
- Be an active participant in the Geriatrician of the Day rota.
- Focus on the swift and thorough assessment of patients.
- Streamline care pathways to minimize unnecessary hospital admissions.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess Full GMC Registration and MRCP.
- Hold an MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Must hold or be able to obtain CCT or equivalent within six months.
- Demonstrated experience in Geriatrics and General Internal Medicine.
- Ability to independently manage patient care.
- Proven experience in leadership and service innovation.
