About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at WB Power Services Ltd. As a key member of our Stores Department, you will play a vital role in supporting our business through a period of rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular stock takes within the Stores Department to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Implement effective stock rotation procedures to maintain a well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Allocate parts and jobs efficiently to meet customer demands.
  • Process goods in and out, including receiving and dispatching stock.
  • Resolve purchase invoice queries and maintain accurate records.
  • Control and manage tools for our head office, ensuring they are properly maintained and accounted for.
  • Locate and identify stock for distribution, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Packaging and dispatching parts, adhering to our company's procedures and using our bespoke systems.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage waste disposal and report any anomalies to the line manager using our Non-conformance system.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with other departments, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Exhibit a customer-focused and professional attitude at all times.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to stakeholders on inventory practices, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in picking and packing, with a strong understanding of inventory management.
  • Desirable: Counterbalance FLT experience and a full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Able to work from a pick sheet and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Competency in IT, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to handle a variety of tasks and maintain a high level of organization.
