As a Marketplace Consultant at Amazon, you will play a critical role in helping our sellers achieve their business goals. You will work closely with a portfolio of 10-12 sellers to develop individual strategies, manage timelines, and own communications. Your analytical skills will be essential in producing business recommendations and actionable insights using a wide set of analytical tools to interpret customer data.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Seller Management: Manage a portfolio of sellers to develop individual strategies, manage timelines, and own communications.
  2. Business Analysis: Produce business recommendations and actionable insights using analytical tools to interpret customer data.
  3. Consultancy: Use your comprehensive Amazon knowledge to understand sellers' needs and leverage our solutions for their priorities.
  4. Support Execution and Operational Troubleshooting: Support sellers by guiding the execution of strategic plans, answering ad-hoc questions, and helping overcome operational and subject-specific challenges.
  5. Relationship Building: Gain the trust of each managed seller by close collaboration and delivering results. Use trust to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders.
  6. Coaching: Educate each seller about Amazon's solutions and news to enhance each selling partner's knowledge about selling on Amazon.
  7. Business Reviews: Prepare and present performance deep dives to facilitate a monthly discussion around business progress, current challenges, and strategic plans with your selling partner.
  8. Subject Matter Expertise: Own a specific subject within our service organization with the goal to support peers, invent processes/tools to the benefit of our internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Local Requirements: Ensure that standardized processes are adapted to the needs of selling partners in this country.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills allowing the interpretation of complex data sets using Microsoft Excel
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
