We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Operations Manager to join our team at Selco Builders Warehouse. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of drivers and pickers, ensuring our customers receive their building materials on-time, in full, and safely.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate a team of 4 drivers and 2 pickers to achieve exceptional delivery performance.
- Develop and implement effective delivery routing strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure all in-house vehicles comply with legal and contractual requirements, maintaining a high level of safety and compliance.
- Manage keyholding and duty management responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service, meeting their expectations for a great delivery experience.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
