About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Supervisor to join our team at Booker Group. As a key member of our delivery operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the daily delivery operations, ensuring that all picking activity is accurate and efficient.
  • Lead and motivate a team of delivery personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve delivery efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a delivery or logistics role, with a strong understanding of delivery operations and logistics principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
