Job Overview

CNC Laser Engineer needed. Our client has been providing manufacturing solutions to educational, design, and industrial sectors globally for over 70 years. Due to business expansion, they are seeking a CNC Laser Engineer.
Successful applicants will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, training, and maintenance of various Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at client locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing CNC and Laser equipment throughout the UK.
  • Working in the workshop as needed, typically 1-2 days a week.
  • Coordinating machine deliveries and collecting spare parts from the workshop.
  • Engaging with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Installing and commissioning new equipment.
  • Conducting fault diagnosis on manufacturing machinery.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Halifax.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home for up to 2-3 nights per week (not including weekends).
  • A recognized electrical qualification is a plus.
  • Experience with CNC Laser Cutting and Engraving (including CO2 laser cutting for non-metal materials and industrial laser machines for metal cutting) is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: £38,000 - £45,000.
  • Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday; 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Fridays.
  • Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
