Position Overview:

As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of critical customer initiatives within a collaborative project team environment. Your role will encompass all functional elements of the project lifecycle, ensuring that each phase from design to execution meets our high standards of customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and financial viability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage large-scale customer initiatives, either independently or as a vital contributor within a broader project team, effectively collaborating across various business units.
  • Foster strong client relationships on-site, advocating for customer needs within Schneider Electric while continuously assessing and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the project team throughout all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring tasks are planned and progress is tracked against established deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and address execution risks, leading efforts to resolve issues and manage claims and variations effectively.
  • Facilitate clear communication among all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent interaction within the project team and the wider organization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the customer, maintaining project team engagement through regular correspondence, meetings, and updates to guarantee seamless execution and satisfaction.
  • Assume full responsibility for project profitability, including cost management, cash flow, and margin analysis, while ensuring timely revenue recognition aligned with forecasts.
  • Monitor project progress against budgetary constraints, striving for continuous improvement in gross margin.
  • Manage contractual obligations to ensure compliance with Schneider Electric's standards and leverage contractual rights effectively.
  • Conduct systematic reviews of deviations from specifications or additional customer requests to identify opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Ensure timely recovery of customer receivables with the support of shared functions.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting to management, highlighting project events that may impact performance or compliance with governance and safety standards.
  • Champion the implementation of Schneider Electric's safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence by all parties involved.
  • Lead lessons learned sessions with internal teams, including Tendering, Sales, and Operations, to promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in a relevant field (Engineering and/or Business) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in the Energy Management or Construction sectors, particularly with data center projects.
  • Familiarity with UPS and cooling system projects.
  • Proficient in project management software tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project).
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.
