SALARY: Up to £14.53 per hour

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week / Full Time

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Nursery Room Supervisor or Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for nurturing the educational and social growth of infants and young children up to five years old. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring a secure environment for learning, fostering essential social and behavioral skills, and engaging children in developmentally appropriate play activities. Our Tops Pokesdown Nursery is a vibrant 135 place Day Nursery & Pre-School located in Boscombe. We offer a variety of extracurricular programs, including Tops Forest School, cooking classes, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation, and more.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Care and Education is essential.

  • A strong commitment to working with children; the Early Years sector can be demanding yet rewarding, so a passion for child development and care is crucial.
  • Creative abilities to design educational activities that ensure children are happy and learning in a supportive environment.
  • Relationship-building skills; children thrive when they have strong bonds with Nursery Practitioners.
  • Personal skills; being approachable and personable with parents is vital for understanding how to support children both in nursery and at home.
