The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality food for all service periods, including the Restaurant, Brasserie, Fine dining, Bar food, Room Service, and Afternoon tea.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
- Assist with menu planning and composition, working closely with the Head and Sous Chefs to create innovative and delicious menus.
- Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet the highest standards.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to HACCP and food hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- 5 shifts per week, 40 hours per week, with paid overtime.
- Demonstrate the ability to produce plated dishes to a rosette standard during a trial shift.
- Experience in managing multiple menu requirements and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
- Ability to relocate to the area with own transportation.
