You will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to qualifying patients, including individuals detained under specific sections of the Mental Health Act 1983.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Independent Mental Health Advocacy and generic advocacy services to eligible patients.
  • Collaborate effectively with various wards within our forensic medium secure hospital setting.
  • Participate in mandatory breakaway and physical disengagement training annually.
Essential Requirements:
  • Prior experience in advocacy or a professional role within mental health services.
  • Possession of the National Advocacy Qualification level 4, or a commitment to achieving this qualification within your first year of employment.
