Healthcare Supplies Coordinator | Full Time, 37.5hrs p/week | Permanent Position | Impington, Cambridge | Complimentary Parking | Exceptional Benefits | £22,386 Annual Salary

Spire Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Supplies Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth supply of medical consumables and products to our theatre department, contributing to the overall efficiency of our Supply Chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain daily inventory order sheets and ensure their accuracy Report any discrepancies in deliveries to the National Distribution Centre Distribute incoming supplies to the appropriate departments Process and confirm orders using our inventory management system Manage returns of surplus stock Participate in regular inventory audits Source and order supplies, including identifying alternative vendors Facilitate new vendor onboarding Oversee stock management, including physical security and inventory tracking Ensure compliance with consignment stock agreements and maintain accurate records Review and rectify unprocessed purchase orders Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts Ensure accuracy in charge sheets Address any issues related to stock management Provide support to the Senior Hospital Supplies Coordinator as needed Communicate effectively with theatre staff regarding stock-related matters

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare supply management is advantageous but not mandatory Familiarity with hospital operations is a plus Understanding of various healthcare products is beneficial Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Basic computer proficiency is required
