About the Role

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for paint, including surface preparation, filling, sanding, and cleaning surfaces. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Surface preparation, filling, sanding, and cleaning surfaces
  • Unpacking, handling, and preparing parts prior to paint
  • Minor filler jobs
  • Prepare and clean panels for primming
  • Priming
  • Prepare vehicles for paint
  • Polishing

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Prep Technician within the automotive repair industry
  • Knowledge of prepping techniques and experience working with various materials
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
