We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars in Haverhill. As a Prep Technician, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for the painting process, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces. You will also perform minor body repairs as needed to ensure vehicles are ready for paint application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles for the painting process, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
  • Perform minor body repairs as needed to ensure vehicles are ready for paint application.
  • Ensure all vehicles are prepped to the highest standard, meeting the company's quality expectations.
  • Work closely with the paint team to ensure a smooth transition from preparation to painting.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep work areas organized.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Prep Technician within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of prepping techniques and experience working with various materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
