Salary: £33,150



Full Time and Permanent - Monday to Friday No Weekends.



We are a growing automotive repair company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services. Our Haverhill site is looking for a skilled Prep Technician to fill this role.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for the painting process, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
  • Minor Body Repairs: Perform minor body repairs as needed to ensure vehicles are ready for paint application.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all vehicles are prepped to the highest standard, meeting the company's quality expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the paint team to ensure a smooth transition from preparation to painting.
  • Health and Safety: Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Efficient Use of Materials: Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep work areas organized.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: Experience as a Prep Technician within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of prepping techniques and experience working with various materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
