About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Bath & North East Somerset Council. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our catering team to deliver high-quality food and drink services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the transportation and delivery of food from our kitchen to our customers.
  • Wash and dry catering equipment and crockery to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Support the team with serving food and drink to customers, and assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining and kitchen areas.
  • Ensure the provision of clean crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils for each meal service.
  • Communicate effectively with care staff, service users, and visitors to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve our goals and objectives.
