We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team on a bank/casual basis. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and delivery of food, washing and drying of catering equipment/crockery, and supporting the team with serving food and drink to service users and others as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the transportation and delivery of food across from our kitchen.
- Wash and dry catering equipment/crockery.
- Support the team with serving food and drink to service users and others as directed.
- Clean the dining and kitchen space.
- Set up the dining space.
- Ensure the provision of enough supplies of clean crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils for each meal service.
- Effectively communicate with care staff, service users, and visitors.
- Work as a proactive team player and independently without supervision.
