About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team at CCP. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for reaching out to warm leads and offering a range of suitable insurance products. You will work in a fast-paced and target-driven sales environment, where you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, a resilient attitude, and to remain compliant at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer outcomes that meet the Consumer Duty standards.
  • Maximise the potential of every lead received and overcome objections.
  • Conduct comprehensive questioning with each client to ensure the correct product is presented.
  • Maintain a high standard of compliance and effectively manage a pipeline of business.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Work towards and achieve targets set by the line manager.
  • Utilise calling technology to reach a minimum of 4 hours of call time per day.
  • Represent the business in a polite and respectful manner.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £30,000 with OTE of £45,000 in year one.
  • 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days with length of service.
  • A 9-day fortnight with a 3-day weekend every other week.

  • A pension and cash plan once probation has been passed.
  • Death in service from day 1 (3 x basic salary).
Requirements
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to build rapport effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Experience of influencing and persuading to successfully handle objectives.
  • Proven ability to fact-find in detail to ensure customer needs are fully established and met.
  • Demonstrable success in closing sales while adhering to a sales process.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic IT ability.
  • Sales processes and insurance knowledge (desirable).
