We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and professionalism. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with children, young people, and families to assess their needs and develop plans to support them.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop effective plans to support them.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide a range of interventions and services to support children and families.
- Manage a caseload of complex and challenging cases, using your expertise and judgment to make informed decisions.
- Provide regular supervision and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, using your skills and knowledge to ensure that records are comprehensive and informative.
- Engage with a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, families, and other professionals, to promote positive change and independence.
- Work in accordance with the Council's Equal Opportunities Policy and other policies designed to protect employees and service users from harassment.
- Meet the requirements of the Professional Capabilities Framework, Social Worker level, and of registration with the HCPC in respect of practice standards, conduct, and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of one year's post-qualification experience in a social work role, as well as a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, using your skills and knowledge to make informed decisions and provide effective support to children and families.
