Social Services Professional

HCRG Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Peterborough. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families, providing expert guidance and interventions to promote positive change and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of children and families' needs, identifying risks and developing effective plans to address these.
- Interventions and Support: Deliver a range of interventions, including individual and group work, to support children and families in achieving their goals and improving their well-being.
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of complex and high-risk cases, ensuring that all necessary interventions are implemented and that progress is regularly reviewed and evaluated.
- Collaboration and Partnership Working: Work closely with other professionals, including education, health, and voluntary sector agencies, to ensure that children and families receive comprehensive and coordinated support.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, producing clear and concise reports to inform decision-making and service development.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practice and research in social work, and contributing to the development of the team and the organization.
- Qualifications: Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or BA/BSc in Social Work) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience: At least one year's post-qualification experience in a social work role, with a proven track record of working with vulnerable children and families.
- Skills: Excellent assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds and with complex needs.
- Personal Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build effective relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
