About the Role

Xodus Group is a leading international energy consultancy, providing expert engineering and advisory services to clients across the globe. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subsea & Pipelines Technical Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams to deliver subsea engineering projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Design and lead the analysis of subsea systems, pipelines, and cables, applying relevant codes and standards.
  • Work closely with proposal and project teams to deliver value-driven solutions and meet client expectations.
  • Evaluate, organize, and prioritize workloads, providing regular feedback to the team.
  • Manage the delivery of scopes for client deliverables, including design calculations, analysis models, specifications, study reports, and presentations.
  • Mentor and develop junior subsea engineers, promoting their growth and professional development.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital design tools and processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in subsea and pipeline design, with a strong background in mechanical engineering.
  • Professional Chartered Status (or working towards attainment) is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in subsea engineering design, including pipelines, risers, subsea systems, and cables for energy transmission.
  • Experience in delivering Integrity Management support and investigation of life extension services.
  • Strong coordination abilities for pipeline operational support.
  • Ability to technically integrate across related disciplines.
  • Willingness to mentor and coach junior engineers.
  • Proven leadership skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in project delivery and project management.
  • Offshore experience and certification are advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with FEA tools such as OrcaFlex and/or Abaqus is advantageous but not essential.
