Company Overview
Our client is a prominent player in the heavy machinery repair sector, specializing in the production of components and tools, as well as providing essential repair and site-support services.

Position Overview
Due to a surge in demand, there is an opportunity to join the field team as a Field Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the repair of heavy machinery and be willing to travel extensively across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fault finding, diagnosis, and repair on various heavy machinery.
- Primarily work in the field, performing repairs on-site, with occasional workshop duties.

Position Requirements
- Must hold a qualification at level 2 in mechanical engineering or have equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in repairing heavy machinery is essential.
- Willingness to travel to client locations throughout the UK, including potential overnight stays.
- A valid UK Driving Licence is required.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate starting at £14.00, based on experience.
- Overtime opportunities available, compensated at a premium rate.
- Provision of a company van and fuel card for business use.
- Reimbursement for travel expenses.
- Participation in company social events.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, with optional weekend overtime.
- Holiday entitlement includes 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
- Pension scheme available.
