About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including air compressors, dryers, and gas generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Document all work performed using company-provided hardware and software.
  • Develop relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Provide basic tools and equipment to accomplish job tasks, and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Develop skills in areas such as VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Respond to customer needs and work to satisfy customer expectations.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and be available to work overtime as needed.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Work as a team member, sharing knowledge with colleagues and participating in training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an industrial electrical or mechanical position.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Full UK driving license with less than 4 points.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
  • Flexibility to participate in the call-out rota.
