We are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and management of our business systems. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure our strategy continues to develop, mature, and deliver.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic plan for developing our business systems in line with our wider business strategy.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve business processes and performance.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on system performance, project status, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and manage IT projects, from conception through to implementation and support, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- As project manager, be responsible for the creation and direction of the project team, holding regular status meetings and tracking progress against plan.
- Chair routine steering committees for strategic IT projects, reporting status to the management board and other key stakeholders.
- Experience of delivering projects using different methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc).
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of business systems, including COINs ERP, Cascade HR, and other enterprise applications.
- Ensure system integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, embedding a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service levels are met.
- Embed a culture of continual service improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to existing systems and processes.
- Strong knowledge and experience with leading ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding and experience of finance and procurement processes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
- Proven experience in managing business systems and enterprise applications.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Agile or relevant business system certifications.
