Position Overview

Join Eclipse Total Solutions Limited as a Technical Support Specialist

This role requires candidates to be based locally, as it is an onsite position from Monday to Friday.

We do not offer sponsorship or relocation for this position.

Role Summary: In the capacity of a Technical Support Specialist, you will be an integral member of our support team, directly interacting with clients to resolve their inquiries and technical issues. Your duties will encompass logging service requests, diagnosing software and procedural problems, and documenting solutions. As you advance in this role, you will also have the chance to engage in system upgrades, installations, development projects, and customer training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience with ERP/business systems and applications (e.g., Priority, SAP, Epicor, MS Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, Winman).
  • Quickly comprehend and understand business and system processes to effectively assist clients.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to efficiently resolve client issues.
  • Possess general IT knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Applications, servers, browsers, and remote desktop connections.
  • Exhibit a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards product ownership and promptly address issues that arise from its use.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing them based on urgency.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Take initiative and adopt proactive approaches to support responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats, ensuring clear and concise interactions with clients.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, MRP, Financials, Bookkeeping, or Stock management processes.
  • Experience in a support desk environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL and SQL databases.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Network skills.
  • Development / Coding experience.
  • Must be based in the UK and possess the right to work in the UK.
