Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a clinical nursing role, with a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and motivate others.
  • In-depth knowledge of current nursing practice, policies, and procedures.
  • Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.

Desirable Requirements

  • Completion of a leadership development program or relevant management training.
  • Experience in research, audit, or the introduction of evidence-based practice.
  • Knowledge of the Maternity Transformation Programme and its aims.
