You will be stationed at a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to groundbreaking research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Research Team, you will oversee the establishment and management of multiple clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting and obtaining consent from eligible patients.
  • Coordinating data collection processes.
  • Arranging and conducting assessments, follow-up appointments, tests, and investigations as outlined by the study protocol.

You will ensure that all specified milestones are met punctually, that high-quality data is gathered, and that the trials are conducted in accordance with the ethically approved protocols and ICH-GCP standards.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of commercial clinical trials, including randomized controlled trials and observational studies.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Current NMC registration.
  • Experience in clinical practice or clinical research at a minimum of NHS Band 5 or higher.
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects effectively.
  • Willingness to undertake necessary training for role competency.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of clinical/hospital environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge or experience in clinical research/audit.
  • Experience in patient interviews.
  • Familiarity with research governance processes.
  • Understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice.
