Job Title: Sales & Tender Engineer

DMW Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sales & Tender Engineer to join our client's team in Teesside. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the marine and offshore industry, offering a competitive salary, annual leave, and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our client's internal sales and tendering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the external sales team, responding to customer enquiries, and preparing quotations and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries across multiple channels.
  • Log and manage sales enquiries, ensuring all are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and issue quotations, liaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Expedite orders and follow up with customers, providing updates and necessary actions.
  • Support external sales efforts by attending customer site meetings, exhibitions, and marketing events.
  • Maintain and update our sales and opportunities database.
  • Report to management on the status of tenders and sales opportunities.
  • Assist in promoting projects across various marketing platforms.
Requirements:
  • Strong multitasking, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to build and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • A willingness to learn and develop a career within our dynamic industry.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in sales and distribution of electrical & automation equipment.
  • Knowledge of the Marine and Offshore Energy sectors.
  • A valid driving license.
