In light of the ongoing expansion of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Research and Development team, we are pleased to present an opportunity for a Clinical Engineering Lead focused on Trials and Validation.
Role Responsibilities
As the Clinical Engineering Lead, you will oversee the execution of trials and evaluations for our products, which includes the identification of key performance indicators and the preparation of comprehensive reports. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the development of Verification and Validation (V&V) and Post-Market Surveillance activities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the team in defining and executing clinical evaluations and studies for our product range.
- Establishing a strategic roadmap for the clinical R&D team and driving its implementation to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Actively participating in the quality enhancement process.
- Reviewing and endorsing technical documentation as per Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, contributing to Design Reviews for ongoing projects, and ensuring effective technical leadership.
- Regularly communicating project status to management and collaborating with peers to optimize operational activities.
- Managing the allocated budget effectively.

Candidate Profile
To be considered for the Clinical Engineering Lead position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Biomechanics or a related field.
- Extensive experience in applying biomechanical principles.
- Proven track record in leading gait laboratories.
- Experience in conducting clinical trials and evaluations for medical devices.
- Familiarity with Medical Device Directive (MDD) and Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
- Knowledge of ISO-13485 and ISO-14971 standards.
- Comprehensive understanding across various engineering domains, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
- A naturally inquisitive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
