About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-centred Clinical Lead Practitioner to join our urology nursing team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out clinical examinations of patients attending the Emergency department or Surgical Assessment Unit, inclusive of physical examinations of urology systems, and present findings to the urology consultant or registrar.
  • Provide evidence-based care or advice for urology patients referred via ePurple, working closely with the consultant and senior middle grades.
  • Run nurse-led follow-up clinics to review patients seen as required, helping to avoid unnecessary admissions.
  • Provide education for Hampshire Hospitals staff and medical students as part of the wider urology team workforce.

Person Specification
