The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineering Manager - Clinical Trials & Validation to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D team at our Head Office in Basingstoke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading clinical evaluations and studies of our products, identifying key performance indicators, and creating reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to define and execute clinical evaluations and studies for our products.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for the R&D clinical team to achieve superior clinical outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement processes and review technical documentation.
  • Ensure effective technical leadership and communication with management and peers.
  • Manage allocated budget and resources.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • MSc in Biomechanics or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in applying biomechanical principles
  • Proven experience in leading gait lab
  • Experience executing clinical trials and clinical evaluations for medical devices
  • Experience with MDD/MDR
  • Experience applying ISO-13485 and ISO-14971
  • Breadth of understanding across other engineering domains
  • Naturally inquisitive and a problem solver
  • Positive team player with a 'can do' attitude
