Job Title: SCADA Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Technician to join our team at Ross-Shire Engineering Limited. As a SCADA Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and commissioning of telemetry and control systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive site-specific telemetry I/O schedules, RTU code/configurations, and telemetry mimics from clients' outline requirements.
  • Drive telemetry commissioning and signal end-to-end testing processes, ensuring accurate documentation of results.
  • Configure telemetry RTUs, including serial comms and radio communication links, to meet project specifications.
  • Assist the project manager with programming and updated schedules, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Modify and implement code changes under change control, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND/degree or equivalent in Engineering, ideally electrical, electronic, or automation.
  • Prior experience of working with control and electrical systems associated with telemetry systems.
  • A working knowledge of electrical schematics and design standards.
  • Familiarity with electrical regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • UK Driving Licence.
