About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Worker to join our Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) team. As a key member of the duty team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of practice and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Team Leader and duty managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Contribute to the assessment of patients' needs in conjunction with qualified staff.
  • Support patients in their recovery and participate in groups delivered by the team as required.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with other professionals, community mental health workers, GPs, and social care teams.
  • Act as a link to other agencies when required and participate in team meetings, supervision, and reflective practice.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or a Mental Health Certificate of equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with people with mental health problems in an acute or community setting.
  • Good computer skills and ability to use a range of IT systems related to the role.
