Job Title: Support Worker for Deafblind Individuals

As a Support Worker for Deafblind Individuals, you will be working with Sense to empower people who are deafblind or have complex disabilities to communicate, experience the world and fulfill their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with day-to-day activities, enabling them to live independently.
  • Enable individuals to access a variety of activities based on their sensory needs, communication preferences, and interests.
  • Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
  • Accompany individuals on trips to the community for shopping, social activities, or other outings.

We are currently recruiting for bank/relief Support Workers in the North Hertfordshire area. The following hours are available:

  • (Child) Buntingford – 4 hours per week.
  • (Child) Stevenage – 4 hours per week.
  • (Adult) Stevenage – 4 hours per week.
  • (Adult) Stevenage – 6 hours per week.
  • (Adult) Hitchin – 3 hours per week.
  • (Young person) Ware – 4 hours per week.
