About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and other complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities in a challenging environment.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting confidentiality.
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
  • Record accurate notes and maintain up-to-date records as required.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to provide exceptional care and support.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
  • Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
