About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers/Intervenors in the North Hertfordshire area. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with individuals who are deafblind or have complex disabilities, providing personalized support to enable them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to individuals with dual-sensory impairments, promoting personal and social development, and encouraging independence through enabling access to activities.
  • Support individuals with day-to-day activities, personal care, and hygiene, as well as enabling them to access a variety of activities based on their sensory needs, communication preferences, and interests.
  • Work with individuals to develop their skills and confidence, enabling them to participate fully in their communities.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that individuals receive comprehensive support and care.
Requirements
  • A full UK license with the use of your own vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
