About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Trader to join our team at ExxonMobil Corporation. As a Freight Trader, you will play a critical role in developing and executing freight trading strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement freight trading strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs
  • Negotiate with suppliers and customers to secure competitive commercial terms
  • Evaluate and optimize physical freight in global markets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with brokers and assets to generate new business opportunities
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in a numeric discipline (Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics)
  • Experience: Proven track record in freight trading, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and commercial acumen
  • Skills: Strong analytical and IT skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions
  • Language: Fluent English language skills (written and spoken), with additional language skills desirable
