Health and Safety Advisor – Part Time Role

Derby

£27,000 per annum + 15% Pension Scheme + 17 days holiday (plus bank holidays) PRO-RATA

Are you an experienced H&S professional seeking a part-time opportunity to balance work and personal commitments? We are looking for a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Ganymede, a company that prioritizes innovative and sustainable transportation solutions to modernize the UK rail sector.

The Opportunity

This part-time role will support the Head of Health and Safety in an office environment, focusing on occupational and operational health and safety projects, as well as providing general health and safety expertise. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of Health and Safety systems
  • Conducting risk assessments
  • Developing policies and procedures
  • Providing health and safety bulletins to staff to enhance awareness
  • Conducting new employee inductions and annual reporting

Remuneration and Benefits

The annual salary for this part-time role is £27,000, with additional benefits including 17 days holiday plus bank holidays and a 15% employer contribution to the pension scheme.

About You

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional with IOSH membership, a proven track record in writing risk assessments, and managing OH&S systems. You should also possess the ability to provide inductions and training on health and safety matters.
