Crew Clothing Head Office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inbound Freight Admin to join our Logistics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Supply Chain Coordinator and ensuring the smooth movement of stock from the Far East and Europe to our UK warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:- Supply Chain Tracking: Daily interaction and management of freight forwarder to ensure continued focus on priorities, assist in maintaining the delivery schedule, and ensure that AX is correct and up to date with the 3rd party logistics tracking system.
- Shipment Bookings: Ensure the smooth movement of stock, chase suppliers for bookings, work with freight forwarder to address booking queries, and liaise with Technical, Merchandising & Product teams to ensure timely approval of shipment bookings.
- Delivery: Liaise with 3rd party Warehouse Manager to plan weekly intake, manage changes, and work through peaks, maintain Crew schedules to ensure key dates are not missed, and investigate and report on discrepancies.
- Essential: Strong levels of communication and interpersonal skills, good Microsoft Excel skills, excellent organisational skills, capable of working to tight deadlines, and ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Desirable: Experience within import/logistics, strong understanding of retail environment, and an understanding of the principles of freight forwarding and critical path.
