Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of a diverse range of products. This position focuses on the evaluation and documentation processes necessary to maintain high standards of quality and safety within our product offerings.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive risk assessment database to evaluate the safety levels associated with various product categories and supplier ratings.
- Contributing to the establishment of a systematic evaluation framework tailored to each product type, factoring in risk assessments and historical performance data.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of safety regulations applicable to different product categories, while swiftly researching and integrating requirements for new product lines into the evaluation protocols.
- Collaborating with procurement teams and manufacturers to ensure that evaluation and documentation processes are seamlessly integrated into the purchasing workflow, thereby enhancing confidence in our supply chain.
- Monitoring safety investigations and product recalls, ensuring prompt actions are taken to eliminate any unsafe products from circulation.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience in product development, safety standards, and quality management practices.
- A solid understanding of current and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with the procurement process to conduct necessary evaluations without delaying product launches.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of product design methodologies, including lifecycle modeling and cost management, is desirable.
