Position Overview:

As a key player in our team, you will be based in a dynamic environment focused on ensuring the safety and compliance of technology products. This is a permanent, full-time role where you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional technology solutions.

In this role, you will take charge of evaluating documentation and conducting thorough testing across a diverse range of products. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive risk assessment database to evaluate the safety levels of various product categories and supplier ratings.
  • Contributing to the establishment of a systematic evaluation process tailored to each product type, factoring in risk assessments and historical performance.
  • Gaining a solid understanding of safety regulations pertinent to each product category, while efficiently researching new requirements and integrating them into the evaluation framework.
  • Collaborating with procurement teams and manufacturers to ensure that safety evaluations and documentation checks are integral to the purchasing process, thereby enhancing supply chain confidence.
  • Keeping abreast of internal and external safety investigations and product recalls to ensure prompt actions are taken to mitigate risks associated with unsafe products.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in product development, safety standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong grasp of current and emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with the procurement process to conduct necessary evaluations without delaying product launches.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Background in a manufacturing or production setting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of product design methodologies, including lifecycle modeling and cost management, is desirable.
