  1. Team Leadership: Manage a team of 3 finance professionals across the UK and US, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial tasks and projects.
  2. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for stores across the US, Australia, and Europe, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Accounts Receivable: Focus on key areas of Accounts Receivable, including Wholesale, Corporate Sales, and Franchisees, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting activities, maintaining and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  5. Global Financial Close: Lead the global monthly financial close process, managing and reviewing work performed by direct reports.
  6. Internal Controls: Establish, maintain, and document internal and external controls within areas of responsibility, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
  7. Finance Systems: Participate in the implementation and development of finance/accounting systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (e.g., CPA, CMA) or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements, with a strong understanding of US GAAP.
  3. Skills: Skilled in Excel, with experience managing international teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  4. Personal Qualities: Strong motivation and persistence to achieve results, with a focus on honesty, reliability, and careful consideration in decision-making processes.
