Job Overview

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional leader to assume responsibility for Surgical Ward 3. As a key member of the Care Group, you will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and develop strategies to enhance patient care and experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the nursing team in the care of surgical patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Provide expert clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the ward team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team and ward triumvirate to enhance patient care, experience, and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies to maintain a skilled and motivated nursing team.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and effective working environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the Trust's strategic plan, aligning with the Strong Roots, Global Reach vision.
