Job Title: Strategic Programme Sponsor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Programme Sponsor to join our team at East West Rail. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategy and direction of our infrastructure programme, ensuring that we deliver our vision of a modernized railway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the programme, aligning with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, senior civil servants, and regulators.
  • Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring that they are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Project Sponsorship: Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that they are aligned with programme objectives.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies that support the programme's objectives, ensuring that they are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, ensuring that all team members are engaged and motivated.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in strategy development, project sponsorship, and change management in the rail industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the rail industry, including industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
