About This RoleAs the Compensation Director, you will provide strategic direction for Hasbro's compensation programs, aligning them with company objectives and positioning Hasbro as an employer of choice. You will lead a global team of compensation consultants, providing expert guidance to support Hasbro's mission. This role requires an experienced leader who can collaborate with business stakeholders to identify new opportunities for continuous improvement in our compensation strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to develop compensation programs that support business strategy, align with Hasbro's culture, and attract and retain top talent.
- Lead annual compensation planning processes, including the development of comprehensive communication materials and leader education initiatives.
- Drive transformation within our Human Resources organization by implementing innovative solutions and best practices.
- Design and manage effective recognition programs that motivate and reward employees for their contributions.
- Lead global communication and education initiatives related to compensation programs, including change management activities to ensure smooth implementation.
- Ensure all compensation activities comply with local employment laws and regulations, Hasbro Global/Regional Policies and Standards, and the Hasbro Code of Conduct.
- Manage the Sales Reward Program globally, overseeing policy and process to maintain competitiveness and drive business results.
- Lead, develop, coach, and mentor other members of the Total Rewards team. Provide guidance on team objectives and deliver constructive feedback on performance regularly.
- Set a clear and compelling vision for your team, demonstrating how their work contributes to delivering our strategic goals and mission.
- Cultivate a healthy, engaged, and inclusive working environment that fosters long-term success.
- Lead by example, ensuring effective communication, support, and recognition are in place.
- Identify, recruit, retain, and develop top talent within your team.
- Extensive experience leading compensation in a global organization with a proven track record of success.
- Deep technical expertise in base-pay, short-term and long-term incentive programs on a global scale.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering compensation strategies and policies.
