Associate Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Director to lead our Global Clinical Program Management team in the Obesity therapeutic area. As a key member of our Clinical Program Operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading all aspects of the operational strategy, planning, risk assessment, and mitigation for our global clinical trial programs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Global Trial Managers and provide guidance on clinical trial operations, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of clinical trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Program Operations, Global Development Operations, and Therapeutic Area teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide clinical operations leadership and expertise on the Evidence Generation Team and in the development of the Evidence Generation Plan.
- Develop and oversee clinical program budgets in collaboration with Therapeutic Area and Finance teams.
- Manage program-level operational issues and oversee study team issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on trial timelines.
- Maintain global business relationships cross-functionally and communicate global status of clinical trial programs to senior management.
- Represent Clinical Program Operations on process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, SOPs, and associated documents.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences or a medically related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical research, including direct management experience.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex clinical trial programs.
- Experience in life sciences or medically related field, including biopharmaceutical clinical research experience obtained working on clinical trials at a biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO company.
- Previous management experience with direct reports and experience at or oversight of outside clinical research vendors (CRO's, central labs, imaging vendors, etc.).
