We are seeking a highly skilled Business Director to join our Marketing Science team at Mindshare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with senior clients, providing analytical solutions to their marketing challenges, and leading the delivery of analytics and marketing effectiveness projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop Marketing Science relationships with senior clients, providing trusted advisory services and analytical solutions to their marketing challenges.
- Lead the delivery of analytics and marketing effectiveness projects, supervising teams of analysts and providing business insight, technical leadership, and quality assurance.
- Support agency strategists and media planners by providing analytical decision support on day-to-day media planning and optimization for clients.
- Ensure that insights generated on analytics projects are evangelized and embedded into decision-making.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in analytical methods, extensive experience using analytical methods within an agency or consultancy, and a proven track record of delivering analytical projects for clients.
Requirements:
- Numerate/analytics degree such as statistics, econometrics, mathematics, sciences, or economics.
- Extensive experience using analytical methods within an agency or consultancy.
- Proven track record of delivering analytical projects for clients.
- Strong consultative abilities, including building and growing strong relationships with senior internal and client-side stakeholders.
- Ability to diagnose marketing challenges, design analytics-led solutions, and write proposals to pitch them to senior client stakeholders.
- Understanding of marketing/advertising and ability to communicate recommendations in this arena to clients.
- Ability to quickly pick up and learn the use of business tools to inform decision-making.
- Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex data-led insights in a simple way.
