Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Panel Adviser to join our team at We Do Social Work. As a Panel Adviser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Foster Panel can proceed with business and progress to Administrative Decision Making (ADM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of Panel papers to guarantee accuracy and completeness, ensuring the Foster Panel can proceed with confidence.
- Panel Membership Management: Verify that Panel membership is compliant and stable, enabling the Panel to grow and develop together.
- Training and Development: Design and implement a training plan for the Panel and the Fostering Service, promoting joint learning and growth.
- Support and Guidance: Provide a weekly clinic for Fostering Staff to receive advice and support with writing and preparing reports.
- Panel Matters Meeting: Organize a fortnightly meeting with Fostering Team Members and Fostering Reviewing Officers to review ADM decisions, identify themes and patterns, and drive continuous improvement.
