IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the monitoring, support, and implementation of our IT infrastructure services across the entire organization.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure problems to minimize service unavailability.
- Provide technical advice and support to staff on IT infrastructure technologies and integrated systems.
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures to ensure effective security and resilience of our IT infrastructure services.
- Monitor and maintain up-to-date information systems records and provide regular infrastructure statistical information.
- Support telephony and agile working schemes for the organization and its partners.
- Research and maintain awareness of emerging technologies to enable participation and advise on their benefits.
- Good education standard, A Levels or equivalent.
- Microsoft server-related certification(s) and relevant degree or equivalent network qualifications/experience.
- Proven record of successful experience within an IT department, with a good understanding of IT security and data protection.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage expectations effectively.
- Ability to develop strategies, policies, and procedures, and maintain SLAs.
