Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the monitoring, support, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure services across the entire trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and server-related issues to minimize service unavailability.
  • Provide support, monitoring, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure services and develop services in line with the trust's business strategies.
  • Deputize for the IT Technical Services Manager and provide support cover on a short-term basis for colleagues in the IT Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams.
  • Work alongside colleagues across the trust and partner organizations as required.

Person Specification:

We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Good education standard - A Levels or equivalent
  • Microsoft server-related certification(s)
  • Holds a relevant degree or has equivalent network qualifications/experience

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • ITIL Version 3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
  • Holds a current CCNA or equivalent network certification
  • VMware-related certification(s)
